Clients’ Bill of Rights

  1. The client has the right to end a service at any time for any reason. Partial payment will be due depending on how much of the service is completed. There are NO REFUNDS.

  2. The client has the right to ask any question pertaining to their service at any time during the service.

  3. The client has the right to an explanation of price of services.

  4. The client has the right to dignity and respect.

  5. The clients has the right to request information regarding past or present treatment, as per HIPAA.

  6. The client has a right to safety and is encouraged to report any illegal/forcible touching to the proper authorities and NY massage therapy licensing board.

Practitioner’s Bill of Rights

  1. The practitioner has the right to end a service at any time for any reason. Partial payment will be due depending on how much of the service is completed. There are NO REFUNDS.

  2. The practitioner has the right to refuse treatment to the client for any reason. Such reasons may include 1) immediate threat to safety 2) the client’s want of a treatment that is medically inappropriate to the client’s condition or 3) the client has a balance from previous services, or history of returned check or disputed credit card charges.

  3. The practitioner has the right to privacy, and to refuse answering personal questions that the practitioner feels are designed for discomfort or to threaten the safety of the practitioner.
